Yiming Liu is a first-year MA student focusing on 18th-19th century art in Europe. Her research interests lie in works relating to nature and ecology, especially the art and ideas of German Romanticists, as well as the emergence of the concept of a “total work of art.” She received her BA from the University of Hong Kong with a major in Art History and was the recipient of the Vincent and Mandy Chan Prize in Music and Fine Arts, among others. She previously helped in the Hong Kong artist Lam Tung Pang’s studio for his exhibition in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, and interned at the Pace Gallery Hong Kong.
