Alaina Shah is an MA student whose area of focus is the art, architecture, and material culture of the Medieval Islamic world. She holds an HBA in Art History from the University of Toronto, graduating with distinction. Before joining Columbia, Shah held an internship as a Curatorial and Research Assistant at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto.
