The Graduate Program Graduate programs of study in the Department of Art History and Archaeology include the PhD in Art History and Archaeology program (with sequential MA—MPhil—PhD degrees) and two free-standing MA Programs: the MA in Art History and the MA in Modern and Contemporary Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies (MODA). The Department's free-standing MA programs lead only to the MA. A separate application is required for admission to the PhD program.
