Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in the Department of Art History & Archaeology at Columbia University appoints promising junior scholars who have recently completed their doctoral work. During the two-year appointment, Mellon Fellows pursue their own research on a diverse range of art historical subjects using the department as a base. Mellon Fellows also serve the department as Lecturers by teaching in the Art Humanities Core Curriculum. In the second year, Mellon Fellows have the option of offering an undergraduate seminar in their own field of specialization in lieu of one semester of Art Humanities.
