Lisa Yang is an M.A. candidate studying early modern European art and architecture. Her broad research interests include the relationship between sculpture and architecture; artistic processes; and the ways in which art and architecture interact and intersect with law, technology, and politics. In addition, Lisa is interested in the historical developments that gave rise to the modern ideas of “artist” and “architect”.
Lisa currently works in the Capital Projects Department at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Prior to this, she worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group.
Lisa received her B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, she also earned The John R. Z. Abela Undergraduate Award for the Study of Positive Psychology for her Senior Honors Thesis.
