Audrey Steinkamp (she/her) is a first-year MA student who works with 19th-century American artworks by women, with a focus on paintings and decorative arts. Her research interests include the intersections of visual art and literature, the role of the environment in American painting, artist couples, and floral still-life. In 2022 she earned her B.A. from Yale University with distinction in English and the History of Art and has previously worked as the Postbaccalaureate Fellow in Student Engagement at the Yale University Art Gallery.
