MA students not only have access to the Department's renowned faculty and University libraries, but also to the multitude of other resources available at Columbia University, including:
Access to New York City institutions extends beyond campus with free admission to several museums including the Guggenheim Museum, Asia Society, Africa Center, Neue Galerie, Cloisters, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Museum of Modern Art. Internships
MA students are encouraged to apply for internships that will broaden their intellectual work in the classroom through further exposure to a range of experiences. Recent MA students have interned at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Collection, The Morgan Library and Museum, among others. Internships cannot count towards course requirements.
