The MODA Student Run Event

Each year, the MODA program sponsors a MODA Student Run Event: a competitive program in which students apply (in groups of 2-3) with a proposal to conceive and organize an event (a symposium, scholarly panel, a film series, a publication, etc) during their final year. The proposals are vetted by the Director and a faculty committee, and the successful one is provided funding and logistical support to mount a professional event that will complement MODA programming, and contribute to the intellectual discussion of contemporary art within and outside Columbia. Details for the competition are given during the second semester of the first year.
